Answers

How do I hook up my Eagle 200, 220, 330 or 440?

Always hook your Flex CT’s / TLars up first to the recorder and put around your phases. Make sure the Arrow on your Flex CT’s are pointing towards the load.

  • Hook up your Common "White Wire". Your Common Wire will be used for EVERY application. It must be hooked up for your Eagle to power up correctly.
  • You may now hookup your other Voltage leads ending with Ch1.
  • Once you hook up Ch1, the LED will start blinking once every second for two minutes. "This is your countdown period". At the end of the two minute countdown the LED will start blinking once every 5-6 Seconds. "Your Eagle is now in Record Mode".

How do I disconnect my Eagle 200, 220, 330, 440?

  • Connect your Eagle to your Laptop, Palm or Field PC via RS232, USB or Bluetooth.
  • Once connected to the Eagle you can stop the recording by Clicking on Recorder, Switch to Standby Mode.
  • You can do this with your Palm by opening PMIScan and selecting LDU and selecting your method of connection, Serial / Bluetooth and then click on Status. You can now Start and Stop the recording with a tap of the screen.
  • You can do this with your Laptop by opening ProVision and connecting with RS232, USB or Bluetooth to the Eagle recorder. Once you are connected to the recorder you will see it under your Devices Window, it will say Eagle (*****) where the * stands for your Eagles Serial Number. You can now Right Click on the Eagle recorder or Left Click on the Recorder menu tab and select Switch to Standby Mode. The record has now stopped recording.
  • If you do not have a Laptop, Palm or Field PC you can still stop the recording by doing the following.
  • Unhook the Flex CT’s / TLars and then unhook either the Common or Ch1. The recorder will shut down and stop recording.

CAUTION: If you do not have a Laptop, Palm or Field PC and you unhook the Voltage leads BEFORE unhooking the Current leads from the recorder the Eagle will see this as a Power Outage and continue to record 0’s for about 12 hours on the ride through battery.
